Scott Xie, a councilor from Oakville, Toronto, also attended the China Film Festival to extend his congratulations. At the enthusiastic invitation of Councilor Scott Xie, the creators of the films featured at TIFF engaged in discussions with Oakville film production companies and explored numerous well-known filming locations, including Oakville’s lakeside trails, museums, art galleries, and the town’s commercial streets and landmark buildings.
