About CAE
Culture and Art Exchange Association Of North America is a registered non-profit organization based in Canada. We strive to develop new ways for exchanges between China and North American countries in filmmaking and other creative initiatives. Our connections and resources in arts and cultural industries in China allow us to build networks between these and other cultural organizations.
With the continuing trend toward globalization in creative industries, our mission is to advocate international communication and collaboration. Our goal is to foster open conversations between professionals with different backgrounds to inspire them to better understand each other, and possibly share modes of cultural expression from which meaningful interaction might occur.
We believe that creativity is the most robust power in the contemporary world, and we are dedicated to become a leading advocate of cultural exchanges.

Our Mission
The Association is established to advocate international communication and collaboration between culture and arts professionals in China and North America to respond to the trend of globalization in creative and culture industries. We hope that through open conversations, professionals with different backgrounds will better understand each other and their own cultural characteristics, from which meaningful interaction might occur. We believe that creativity is the most robust power in contemporary world, and we are committed to becoming an internationally recognized advocate of exchanges in culture and arts.
Our Team
Lisa Lin
President
Lisa Lin was previously a senior producer of Chinese TV station. She has working experiences in the industry for over 20 years. With professional knowledge and experiences in film and TV production, she is familiar with the diverse resources available in China. Lisa also has solid connections with the professionals and has established a good reputation in the industry - her expertise in video production is endorsed by her peers. “Gathering people with the same passion in creativity is our major vision for this association. This platform is created for Chinese and North American professionals in creative and culture industry to share their love and understanding of culture and art. We believe good work deserves public recognition.”
Wei Li
Vice President
A senior editor-director and program producer of Beijing Radio & Television Station. An executive director of the China Population Culture Promotion Association.
Involved in film and television media work for over 30 years. Served as the director assistant of the 50-episode TV series “Desire” and was honoured with a special award from the Beijing Municipal Government.
Introduced the American DISCOVERY Channel, worked as a producer, creating the “Discovery” program, which has been broadcast for more than 20 years and is highly praised by society. Won the “Beijing Excellent Science Popularization Worker” award several times.
Jin Zuo
Consultant
Mr Zuo is a well-known Chinese artist specialized in oil and acrylic painting. He is the co-founder of C9 Art Gallery, the President of Canadian Chinese Art Association, the Vice President and Director of Oil Painting Department of China Zen Art Ltd. Mr. Zuo is a member of Art Committee of the Belt and Road Initiative in China and was selected by the Canadian federal government as the China-Canada Cultural Ambassador. He is enthusiastic in charity and was selected as one of the top ten charitable artists by Beautiful China.
Liu Young
Event Manager
With a BA in Chinese Literature from Peking University and a MA in Museum Studies from University of Toronto, Liu Young has cultivated her interests in arts and culture in both Beijing and Toronto. She is fascinated by the intersection between contemporary art and science and has experiences in gallery operation, event coordination and writing. She was involved in documentary series Charm of China and Exploring and working as a part-time translator for Lonely Planet Beijing
Weizhong Chen
Consultant
Mr. Chen Weizhong is a well recognized film and television producer, planner and distributor. Mr. Chen Weizhong produced and distributed many well-known films and TV series such as Devils on the Doorstep, Hero, House of Flying Daggers, The Promis, Curse of the Golden Flower, Dangerous Liaisons, Come and Go, I accidentally fall in love with you, Final Court. In 2015, he became vice executive president of Zhejiang Tianyi Film & Television Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Lugang Culture (stock code: 601599), and oversaw the corporate regrouping. The market value of the corporate exceeded 23 billion after the reconstruction. In 2018, he founded Beijing All-one Internet Technology Co., Ltd. and the company developed the mobile app “Mockbird”.
Tina Guo

Graduated from Communication University of China, Tina has engaged in CCTV media operations for more than ten years, worked in China's first-line media companies, and has objective insights and cognitions on various media platforms. Tina has the foresight of market development and has a solid understanding and research on multiple industries.
Wenjing Miao
Designer
Wenjing is a senior Internet Designer with a professional background and theoretical foundation. Wenjing has a unique perspective from the user end, defining the problem and with a flexible solution. With a sense of branding, Wenjing can accurately grasp the brand's tone and nuances, Wenjing's work and clients including China Everbright Bank, Bank of Beijing and Post User Interface design.
Yue(Kelly) Ma
Communication Consultant
Kelly graduated from University of Toronto with the Honour Bachelor of Art focusing on Cinema and Media studies. She used to be a marketing director for multiple companies planning their websites, posters, videos, social media accounts, and material designs. She is good at socializing and communicating with people and have strong organizational management ability which drives the balanced and healthy development of the company. Kelly is willing to get in touch with all the unknown fields in which to try to help Chinese Film Industry develop in the worldwide space with various possible ways.

Yu Zhang

Yu Zhang is a senior film and television screenwriter residing in Canada who graduated from the Communication University of China. She previously worked as a director and screenwriter for the ``Shangqiao`` program on CCTV-2's economic channel, where she presented many wonderful programs to the audience. In addition, she has also served as the planner and organizer for large-scale events at Beijing TV advertising company, including the ``2010 Green Angel National Tourism Miss Contest``. As a television screenwriter for both Beijing Galloping Horse Group and Beijing ZhengZaiFaSheng Cultural Media Co., Ltd, she has accumulated rich experience and achievements in the film and television industry. she is passionate and persistent about film and television creation and looks forward to making more contributions to this industry in the future.
